The Art of Acting

(for children ages 6 and up and teenagers)

The class offers intensive acting skills training with a special focus on developing students’ individual abilities.

 

 

  • Each student works on his/her own objectives with increasing difficulty categorized by three levels.

    As students make progress toward their objectives, they receive more opportunities for public performances.

  • All students also choose one or more areas of specialization to do independent work under the instructor’s guidance and with additional training.
    Areas of specialization: Singing, Dance, Musical instrument playing, Mime, Juggling, Puppetry, Script-writing, Stage combat, Visual design (set, props, costume, makeup), Technical theatre, Film-making

The classes meet once a week for 2 1/2 hours
